Clark Contracts has been appointed by Fife Council to complete the construction of 97 new social rented homes at Lochgelly Road, Lumphinnans.
Work started on site in July 2026, with the development set to deliver 45 homes by summer 2027 and the remaining 52 homes by Autumn 2028.
The development forms part of Fife Council’s ongoing investment in affordable housing and will provide much-needed homes for local individuals and families.

“The restart of construction at Lumphinnans is particularly welcome. Following the collapse of the original contractor, a huge amount of work has gone into resolving complex issues on site and ensuring the development can move forward.
“These 97 houses will make a real difference to individuals and families who need access to secure warm and safe housing.”
