Clark Contracts has strengthened its long-running Academy programme with the recruitment of 15 new trainees and apprentices across the business so far in 2026.
Established in 2006, the Clark Contracts Academy was created to provide structured routes into the construction industry, supporting trainees and apprentices as they build their careers through practical experience, mentoring and recognised qualifications.
This year’s intake includes Trainee Quantity Surveyors and Trainee Site Managers, alongside apprentices in office-based roles across Administration, Maintenance, Estimating and Planning, reflecting the wide range of career opportunities available within the company.
Each trainee will receive support from a dedicated mentor while completing qualifications through Modern Apprenticeship, Graduate Apprenticeship, HNC and Honours Degree pathways.
Their development will combine hands-on experience across Clark Contracts’ projects and departments with formal learning delivered by education partners including Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Napier University, Glasgow Caledonian University, City of Glasgow College and West College Scotland.
The continued success of the Academy has also been recognised nationally, with Clark Contracts winning the Training Excellence Award at the Construction News Awards and being shortlisted for two further national industry awards this year.
