We are continuing our 17 year relationship with the University of Glasgow having been appointed on their Minor Works Framework for a 3rd time in a row.
This award will see us deliver individual projects up to a value of £1m over the next 2 years. The framework will include: minor new builds/extensions, structural repairs and refurbishment works.
The award of this contract further emphasises Clark Contracts success in the education sector. Over the past 3 years we have carried out 84 projects within university establishments and are currently appointed on frameworks with The University of Edinburgh and University of Strathclyde.
Projects we have previously delivered with the University of Glasgow include the £1m enabling works to prepare for the redevelopment of the Garscube Estate, where we have recently completed the £2.1m construction of the GLaSS Building.
Other projects we have recently delivered include the £700k refurbishment to the Rankine Building to create a workshop for students. We also delivered the £430k refurbishment of the Rankine and Stevenson buildings to provide new lecture theatres and a sports complex.
We also carried out £170k of work to the Graham Kerr Building where we refurbished 2 aquariums.
