A £1.7m contract to extend Balgeddie House Hotel, Glenrothes has been awarded to Clark Contracts.

The hotel owners, Samuel Solley (Hotels) Ltd awarded the work to Clark Contracts after the previous contractors went into liquidation.

We have worked closely with the hotel's design team and supply chain to enable works to recommence. We have completed several swimming pools recently and we look forward to getting this project back on track."

Situated in the Balgeddie area of North Glenrothes, the three star Balgeddie House Hotel features 20 bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The hotel will remain open for business during the extension work with completion due by December 2010.
