Clark Contracts recently opened their Bught Park Pavillion and Shinty Museum project for a behind the scenes look at the major redevelopment works.
The main contractor is completing the refurbishment of the B-Listed grandstand at Bught Park, constructing a brand-new purpose-built pavilion and shinty museum along with improved infrastructure for events.
Works are now commencing to complete the fit out the pavilion interior and on target for an early spring completion date. The stadium will host the country’s only dedicated shinty museum on the ground floor, with events space upstairs.
Visitors included Camanachd Association CEO, Ruari Davidson and Councillor Ian Brown, who is leader of Inverness city and area and co-chair of the Inverness Castle Project Delivery Group.
The venue has a number of exciting events lined up for 2025 including both the McTavish Cup final and the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup final.
Michael Scanlan, Director at Clark Contracts said “We are excited to see the progression of the works at Bught Park and are looking forward to giving this important venue back to the local community to use for years to come. This was our first project with the Highland Council and we are looking forward to working together again in the near future.
