Clark Contracts appointed to two lots of residential refurbishment framework

Clark Contracts has been appointed by Glasgow City Council to the panel of contractors on two lots of their £12m Statutory Private Property Housing Repairs Framework which is intended to run until 2028.

 

Works awarded on this framework will consist of both internal and external refurbishments with Lot 1 covering minor works up to £499,999 and Lot 2 covering major works valued at £500,000 and over.

 

Clark Contracts, in the role of main contractor, is currently on site delivering £25m of residential projects including a development in Upper Langlee for Waverley Housing Association and a flatted development in Glasgow for Govanhill Housing Association. They also recently completed the construction of new council housing in Polmont for Falkirk Council, the refurbishment of mid-market rental flats in Edinburgh, the conversion of a former Travelodge in Aberdeen to create a 107-bed student accommodation development and a 60-studio refurbishment at 53-68 South Bridge, Edinburgh.  

 

The contractor is appointed to several other public sector frameworks in the housing sector, including Scotland Excel’s New Build Residential Framework, Wheatley Group’s Generation 3 Housing Framework, Link Group’s New Build Housing Framework and several SPA frameworks including: New Build Housing, Public Building & Infrastructure, Refurbishment and Modernisation and Fire Safety frameworks.
