Main Contractor, Clark Contracts, has been awarded the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety System (OHS) standard following a rigorous two-stage audit from UKAS accredited certification body Exova BM TRADA.
ISO 45001:2018, which was introduced in March 2018 replacing the previous OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series), is the world’s first international standard dealing with health and safety at work.
Clark Contracts certification highlights their continuing commitment to identifying, managing and controlling health and safety risks in their workplace and creating safer working conditions for their employees.
The certification was developed by experts in occupational health and safety and provides a global benchmark for organisations across the world, ensuring that they operate in a consistent, healthy and safe manner.
