Clark Contracts has achieved a Platinum accredited membership as part of The 5% Club’s highly respected 2025–26 Employer Audit Scheme. This prestigious recognition celebrates our ongoing dedication to nurturing talent through “earn and learn” opportunities, including Apprenticeships, Graduate Programmes, and Sponsored Student Placements, which empower our people to grow, learn, and thrive.
The 5% Club, comprises of a movement of more than 1,200 forward-thinking employers who are championing inclusive, accessible, and impactful workplace learning. Collectively, members support over 2 million employees, with more than 121,000 engaged in “earn and learn” programmes. The rigorous Employer Audit independently validates achievements and future ambitions, recognising an overall commitment to social mobility, diversity, and inclusion.
Out of this distinguished group, Clark Contracts is honoured to be recognised as one of The 5% Club’s elite Platinum members. This accolade places us among the UK’s leaders in workforce development, showcasing our passion for creating learning environments where every colleague can succeed.

This recognition is a testament to our long-standing commitment to developing the next generation of talent through meaningful ‘earn and learn’ opportunities. Since the introduction of our award-winning academy in 2006, we have supported over 350 apprentices and trainees into the construction industry. This year, we are also celebrating the highest number of employees within our Academy with over 45 apprentices and trainees enrolled. Today, we employ over 280 employees with over 20% completing formal training programmes. We recognise investing in our people not only strengthens our business but also plays a vital role in addressing the significant skills shortage within the construction industry.”
