Following Clark Contracts 9th annual Careers Events, the contractor has now opened applications for trainee and apprentice positions.
The careers events held in the East and West of Scotland as part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week, attracted attendees from high school leavers to university students, who had the opportunity to meet the company’s recruitment team and current employees to find out more about careers at Clark Contracts and within the industry.
The contractor’s Recruitment and HR Manager delivered presentations on the company’s Academy and training opportunities, demonstrating numerous examples of staff members who started as apprentices and have progressed into management roles within the company.
The trainee positions available include office-based Modern Apprenticeships, Trainee Estimators, Trainee Site Managers, and Trainee Quantity Surveyors, Apprentice Joiners and Apprentice Painter & Decorators. To apply, please click here.

Clark Contracts is committed to ensuring new talent is recruited into the industry and currently has over 40 trainees and apprentices within their award-winning Academy in a range of roles including, Site Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Buying, Marketing, Estimating and Trade Apprentices. The contractor annually invests more than £750k into training and is dedicated to the continued development of employees, with many having progressed from trainee and apprentice positions to senior management roles within the business.
