On Friday 31st October, Clark Contracts held their annual Halloween fundraising event for nominated company charity, SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health), raising £1,000 for the charity.

The event, which has run for 15 years, included a fancy-dress competition with employees dressing up as Haribo’s, ‘Day of the Dead’, Shrek, Mario and friends, skeletons and various ghosts and ghouls. The competition was judged by Michelle Forfar, Account Manager at SAMH who attended the event to speak to employees about the impact that their fundraising has on the community who utilise SAMH’s services.

The best costume prize was presented to the Fit-Out department who dressed up as characters from Shrek.

A Halloween bake off competition and sale was held across the East and West offices, with best baker winning vouchers for The Corinthian in Glasgow and The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh.

Employees were also treated to pizza and games including ‘wrap the mummy’, pumpkin bowling and a raffle, with the lucky winner receiving a voucher for an overnight stay for two at the voco Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.

Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director, Clark Contracts added: “It’s fantastic to see our team come together once again to support SAMH through our annual Halloween fundraiser. The generosity shown across the business is inspiring, and we’re proud to have raised over £25,000 for a charity making such a vital impact in our communities.”

Michelle Forfar, Account Manager at SAMH said “I had a fantastic time at Clark Contracts Halloween event. It was great to see colleagues come together, have fun, and raise vital funds for SAMH. These contributions help us to continue with our 70 services that provide mental health and wellbeing support across Scotland. We're incredibly grateful for your generosity and enthusiasm.”
