Clark Contracts has been re-appointed to Scotland Excel’s £1.5 billion New Build Residential Construction Framework.
The contractor has been appointed to all 5 lots of the framework which covers both the traditional build and design and build, of various sizes of housing developments across Scotland. The framework is primarily focused on the delivery of affordable houses, bungalows and flats, but also allows for the delivery of other residential properties like sheltered housing, student accommodation and mixed tenure properties.
The framework was developed to provide councils, housing associations and other public sector bodies with a route to procure a range of residential properties from contractors, including all enabling and ancillary works and services.

Clark Contracts’ dedicated Housing division are currently on-site delivering Phase 1 of the regeneration of Beech Avenue in Upper Langlee for Waverley Housing Association and a new five-storey, flatted development in Glasgow for Govanhill Housing Association. They have also recently completed the construction of new council housing at the former Oakbank Care Home in Polmont. for Falkirk Council.
The contractor is appointed to several other public sector frameworks including Wheatley Group’s Generation 3 Housing Framework, Link Group’s New Build Housing Framework and several SPA frameworks including; New Build Housing, Public Building & Infrastructure, Refurbishment and Modernisation and Fire Safety. The main contractor is also appointed to framework agreements with Fusion21, Crown Commercial Services, Prosper, NHS National Services Scotland, the University of Glasgow, the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow City Council and The City of Edinburgh Council.
