On Friday 27th October, we held a Halloween Fancy Dress Day and Bake Off where staff dressed up in their best costumes and baked some ghoulish cakes in a bid to win ‘Best Dressed’ and ‘Star Baker’, raising money for our nominated company charity, Parkinson's UK in the process.

Some of the costumes on show included Mario Kart, Scooby Doo, Three Blind Mice and a team of dinosaurs. An employee from each department and division also took on the Cracker Challenge, where they had to eat as many crackers as possible in 1 minute without a drink. You can view some photos from the event here.

Jan Mattison, Parkinson’s UK’s Fundraiser for the West of Scotland, visited our head office in Paisley to judge the competitions for best individual and team costume, best cake and to draw the Raffle where the grand prize was a £100 gift voucher for Intu Braehead!

Following a contribution by the company, we raised £1,000 which will be donated to Parkinson’s UK who use donations to drive better care, treatment and quality of life for those suffering from the disease. You can read more about the work they do on their website.
