Clark Contracts has been appointed to complete the construction of new student accommodation at 22-24 Potterrow in Edinburgh.
The new building, which is located a short walking distance from The University of Edinburgh, will house 52 studio apartments in addition to common rooms and amenity areas across 6 floors.
Works started on site in September at the Potterrow development which is being constructed with stone cladding to blend in with the surrounding buildings. The works are scheduled for completion in August 2018 to allow them to be occupied in time for the new university term beginning.
Offsite construction will be used to create bathroom pods which will improve the quality of the build and reduce the construction time on site.
