Our 17 year relationship with the University of Strathclyde continues as we have been appointed on their Minor Works Framework for a third consecutive time since the initial framework in 2007.
This appointment will see us deliver construction, refurbishment, fit out and maintenance works up to £4m across the university’s teaching spaces, laboratories and student accommodation over the next 4 years.
In the past 3 years, we have completed over £25m of work for the University of Strathclyde, University of Glasgow, University of St. Andrews, The University of Edinburgh and Glasgow Caledonian University.
Previous projects completed for the University of Strathclyde include the £1.3m refurbishment of the Curran Building, the £800k refurbishment and fire upgrades within the James Weir Building and we have recently been awarded the second phase of the £1.3m refurbishment of the John Anderson Building.
Our in-house joinery manufacturing team also delivered the bespoke joinery package for the Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) totalling £160k.
Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director, Clark Contracts said, “This framework will allow us to further develop both our experience within the higher education sector and our relationship with the University of Strathclyde.”
