Clark Contracts has worked with the University of Glasgow for over 20 years and has been formally appointed as one of four contractors on the university’s Minor Works framework which is for works up to £1m, since 2006.
The contractor’s Small Works Division has delivered 13 projects for the University of Glasgow in 2017.
The projects have ranged from decoration to laboratory refurbishment works with individual values between £10k and £300k. The works have been carried out a various locations spread across the University’s west end and Garscube campuses.
The contractor’s Construction West Division has also delivered work for the University of Glasgow having completed the £6m construction and refurbishment of the GLaSS building, at the Garscube Estate.
Clark Contracts is also appointed on the University of Strathclyde Minor Works framework and the University of Edinburgh’s Maintenance framework.
The company has a long history of working with higher education customers having delivered projects for 11 Scottish universities including the University of St Andrews, the University of the West of Scotland, Herriot-Watt University, Glasgow Caledonian University, the University of Stirling, the University of the Highlands and Islands, the University of Aberdeen and Edinburgh Napier University.
