Management Accountant

Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with five operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Small Works, Maintenance and Manufactured Joinery. We employ over 200 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.

 

Due to continued growth we are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join our finance department based in our Head Office in Paisley. 

Role & Responsibilities

Duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
  • Analysing the monthly financial results
  • Bank and cash flow analysis
  • Bank and Nominal reconciliations
  • PAYE and VAT submissions
  • Assist in the creation of management reports for the company Directors
  • Auditing internal accounting processes and procedures
  • Reporting to the Finance Director in all areas of finance
  • Fully embrace the companies Customers 1st campaign to continually improve the way we deal with our Customers.

 

The Candidate

  • CA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is required. 
  • Ideally experience within a fast paced finance department would be preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload.

This is a full time, permanent position and it will be based at our head office in Paisley.
