Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with five operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Small Works, Maintenance and Manufactured Joinery. We employ over 220 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.

 

We are looking to recruit a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance department. This is a full time, permanent role and will be based in our Paisley Head Office. 

 

Role & Responsibilities

Duties will include but not be limited to

  • Supervise the purchase ledger team
  • Training modern apprentices
  • Reporting on purchase ledger department
  • Processing high volume of invoices
  • Receipting of deliveries
  • Resolving supplier queries
  • Payment runs
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Setting up new supplier accounts

 

The Candidate

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced Purchase Ledger environment is required.
  • A willingness to learn and develop quickly is essential.
