Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with six operating divisions; Construction, Retail, Fit Out, Small Works, Maintenance and Manufactured Joinery. We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.


Our Administration department are now looking to recruit a Apprentice Administration Assistant to join the business. This is an entry level role and the successful candidate will complete a modern apprenticeship in a business related subject.


The role would ideally suit a recent school leaver with strong academic results who is looking to start a career within business administration. 


Role & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be given full training in the below;

  • Operation of a busy Switchboard 
  • Incoming mail –scanning and distribution
  • Outgoing mail
  • Filing and Photocopying for all departments
  • Administration of emails for all contracts
  • General typing - spreadsheets
  • Stationery.
  • Room prep for meetings - Tea/Coffee for all internal and external meetings including clearing rooms. Also preparing for breakfast and lunch meetings.
  • Booking of accommodation and flights and ongoing transport from airports.


Applicants must have good communication skills and a desire to learn new skills.
