Pupils from Lady Alice Primary School visited their newly refurbished primary school on Friday 22nd June to get a preview of the work completed so far by Clark Contracts.
Lady Alice Primary School, situated on Old Inverkip Road, is undergoing a £3m refurbishment to bring it up to date in addition to an extension to form a new dining area and entrance.
Twelve pupils and three members of staff attended the visit and were given a guided tour by the site manager to see the changes that have taken place since July 2017.
The project is registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme which is a voluntary scheme designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements in the construction industry. The site scored 34 out of 50 in its latest audit and received a certificate of compliance from the scheme.
