For the ninth year running, Clark Contracts, the construction, refurbishment and maintenance company, has scooped a Gold Medal Award at the RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Occupational Health and Safety Awards.
To achieve the Gold Medal, Clark Contracts demonstrated a continued high level of performance, a well developed occupational health and safety culture and management systems and culture, as well as maintaining professional control of risk.
David Cooper, Director, Clark Contracts, said, “It’s especially pleasing to have our efforts towards creating safe working environments for staff and members of the public near our sites recognised by one of the most highly respected occupational awards programmes for the ninth year running. Our Health and Safety Department and the rest of the Clark Contracts team are immensely proud of this achievement for the ninth year in a row. Our consistency and commitment towards health and safety remains a priority aspect of all our business operations.”
As the UK’s family safety charity, RoSPA’s mission to save lives and reduce injuries covers all ages and stages of life. The RoSPA Awards, established in 1956, recognise commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work. Through the scheme, which is open to organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
