Construction is progressing well at our affordable housing development on Blackness Road in Dundee, being delivered on behalf of Dundee City Council. The project will provide 24 new homes, including six wheelchair-accessible one-bedroom flats and 18 two-bedroom properties.
Representatives from Dundee City Council recently visited the site to view progress, with work advancing significantly since ground stabilisation and foundation works were completed. The masonry structure for the ground floor apartments has been erected, the first-floor concrete slab installed and facing brickwork progressing across the development.
Designed to complement the surrounding area, the new homes will incorporate high-performance insulation and a hybrid boiler and air source heat pump heating system, helping to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient housing for future residents. The development remains on programme for completion in 2027.
