Our project at Gallowhill Primary School, Paisley, comprised the upgrading of the existing electrical installation.
We completed the rewiring and replacement of distribution boards, rewiring and upgrading of the lighting installation and alarm system. In addition we installed CCTV and induction loop system, new suspended ceilings and containment systems.
The works were carried out in distinct phases throughout the school. This will be completed while the existing school remains live and therefore the control of dust and the transport of labour and materials was of paramount importance.
All disruptive works which created high levels of disruption and noise were programmed to be completed at weekends in order to minimise disruption to the school and pupils.
