This project comprised of the internal refurbishment of a 2-storey steel framed standalone facility to accommodate new pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes.
We created manufacturing and other operational areas on the ground floor and plant/services distribution on the first floor of the 1,480m2 unit.
We carried out works to the offices, meeting rooms, labs, kitchen, showers and locker rooms. This included the installation of plasterboard and glazed partitioning, flooring finishes, kitchen units, tea prep areas, internal windows, doors, ironmongery and fittings along with access controls, door interlocking and fire alarm interlinks.
The refurbishment of the office spaces involved the installation of new suspended ceilings, flooring and partitioning to accommodate acoustic performance. The offices and meeting rooms were fitted out with work station desks, meeting tables, break out areas and storage cupboards.
We installed lab furniture including bench tops, cantilever benches, lab sinks, underbench units and hygiene stations.
