This project involved the internal and external refurbishment to Merino Court Care Home in Greenock.
We carried out the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the dining rooms, main entrance, assisted bathrooms, WC’s, corridors, bedrooms and en-suites, day rooms, staff areas and the Managers office within this operational care home.
We carried out the refurbishment and reconfiguration including the installation of new flooring, lighting, power, plumbing and tea prep areas. This also involved decoration works and the reconfiguration of existing server counters.
The project also involved the upgrade of the main entrance foyer and reception which comprised the bespoke manufacturing of front entrance points, new flooring, suspended ceilings, fire alarm upgrades and bespoke units/tea point installation.
All assisted bathrooms underwent a full reconfiguration of plumbing supplies and services including the underfloor installation of new assisted baths, the installation of new DDA compliant wash hand basins, WC’s and hand rails. We also carried out decoration and flooring works.
The corridors within the care home were refurbished including lighting upgrades, installation of new pattress pads and handrails, decoration, flooring, and what they call “Nook” which provide resting points for residents to have a seat whilst walking through the corridor.
Resident’s bedrooms and en-suites were stripped out with new en-suites installed along with new flooring and lighting upgrades throughout. Day rooms were also altered to provide new layouts to suit the residents’ requirements.
Externally we constructed bespoke timber planters and bin sheds, installed decking, created slabbed areas, laid new slate chips as well as sowing new grass seeds and planting shrubs.
