We were shortlisted for the 'Training Excellence' award at the 2019 UK wide Construction News Awards having been awarded this prize at the 2017 awards ceremony. We were also shortlisted for the Skills Initiative of the Year category of the Building Magazine Awards, the Excellence in Learning and Development category at the Construction Investing in Talent Awards and the Training and Development category at the Business Insider Scotland's Best Employer Awards, all in 2017. 

 

We were finalists in the 'Developing the Young Workforce' category at the 2018 Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce ROCCO Business Awards having won 'Employer of the Year' at the 2017 ROCCO Business Awards.

 

Annual review of training and development needs

We offer structured training and development to all our employees through two principal methods, the Group Core Training Matrix and Continuing Professional Development.

Annual appraisals with line management provides the opportunity to discuss any training requirements and development opportunities.
 

 

Creating employment opportunities within local communities

We support the local communities where we are delivering projects by offering work placements on our sites helping the long term unemployed back into work.
