Pupils at Mossvale Primary School and Nursery Class and St James’ Primary School in Paisley learned about health and safety on a building site, with a creative twist.
Over 300 people interested in a traineeship or apprenticeship in the construction industry attended a careers evening staged by Clark Contracts at its Head Office in Paisley.
Over the past 12 months we have been awarded new projects totalling £5million from The University of Edinburgh. We have been working with the University since 2007 and are currently appointed on their framework for building maintenance and minor works for projects up to £1m.
In support of 2016’s Scottish Apprenticeship Week in March we attended multiple events, raising awareness of our Academy and opportunities at Clark Contracts.

Clark Contracts has kicked off 2016 with over £20m of new construction and refurbishment contracts across Scotland.
The new work includes two contracts, with a combined value of just over £8 million, for Renfrewshire Council, to build the new St. Fergus’ Primary School in Paisley and to undertake extension and refurbishment work at the shared campus of Mossvale Primary School and St James’ Primary School, also in Paisley.
Clark Contracts, construction, refurbishment and maintenance contractor, has been appointed onto the NHS National Services Scotland Framework for medium value construction projects and minor building works for NHS clients across Scotland.
The main entrance to the University of the West of Scotland’s Paisley campus has been enhanced through a £1.7m design and build project delivered by local contractor, Clark Contracts. The new atrium and learning space was officially opened on Friday 12th February by HRH The Princess Royal.
Staff at building company, Clark Contracts teamed up with the firm’s sub contractors and customers to stage a two week drive to collect food and toiletries for donation to 10 foodbanks across Scotland.
Pupils at Dunbar Primary School in East Lothian recently took on the challenge to build a giant tetrahedron. It was all part of a joint visit to the school by Clark Contracts, who are currently on site building a two storey, four classroom extension to the school, and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
