Clark Contracts has kicked off 2016 with over £20m of new construction and refurbishment contracts across Scotland.
The new work includes two contracts, with a combined value of just over £8 million, for Renfrewshire Council, to build the new St. Fergus’ Primary School in Paisley and to undertake extension and refurbishment work at the shared campus of Mossvale Primary School and St James’ Primary School, also in Paisley.
Clark Contracts, construction, refurbishment and maintenance contractor, has been appointed onto the NHS National Services Scotland Framework for medium value construction projects and minor building works for NHS clients across Scotland.
The main entrance to the University of the West of Scotland’s Paisley campus has been enhanced through a £1.7m design and build project delivered by local contractor, Clark Contracts. The new atrium and learning space was officially opened on Friday 12th February by HRH The Princess Royal.
Staff at building company, Clark Contracts teamed up with the firm’s sub contractors and customers to stage a two week drive to collect food and toiletries for donation to 10 foodbanks across Scotland.
Pupils at Dunbar Primary School in East Lothian recently took on the challenge to build a giant tetrahedron. It was all part of a joint visit to the school by Clark Contracts, who are currently on site building a two storey, four classroom extension to the school, and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
Four future leaders of Scotland’s building and construction sector have won awards sponsored by leading construction firm Clark Contracts. The four were recognised at the Annual Prize Giving of the School of Engineering and Built Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU).
We have completed three phases of work to the Category A listed Custom House, Greenock, refurbishing and modernising the building, which dates back to 1818, whilst preserving its original character.
We are on site delivering the first phase of redevelopment work at Denny Town Centre for Falkirk Council totalling £4.7m.
We recently handed over our completed project at Cumbrae House, Glasgow, which involved the major refurbishment and fit out of the 5 storey, partially occupied office block in order to create a new centre and Head Quarter for Prince’s Trust, creating Scotland’s biggest youth employment and enterprise hub.
We completed the construction of a 4,300 sq ft learning facility at Sky’s existing Kirkton Campus in Livingston. The new Sky Academy Skills Studio is a purpose built teaching and studio facility specifically designed to cater for visiting school parties of student/pupils.
