We employ trainees across the company in various positions including Administration Estimating, Surveying, Construction Management, Finance, Buying and Marketing.
Trainees will begin their role at Clark Contracts full time working alongside experienced mentors. Once trainees have progressed to a certain level of knowledge and experience, they will be offered the chance to study the appropriate subject at a level which is in line with their experience and existing qualifications at college or university. This can range from NC, HNC, HND through to degree level.
Trainees will be supported throughout their part time study and are given the option to continue to study to degree level and beyond.
At present we have employees at college and university studying Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Construction Management.
Hailey – Business Development Manager
Hailey joined Clark Contracts in 2006 as an Administration Assistant to provide maternity cover. Her performance and attitude to work meant she was offered a full time position and commenced a 2 year day release course at Reid Kerr College to achieve a HNC in Business Management. Six months later she joined the company’s Marketing and Business Development team as an Assistant. In September 2009 she started studying for a BA Honours degree in Marketing and Management at the University of West of Scotland.
Hailey was promoted to Marketing and Business Development Co-ordinator in 2011, graduated with a first class honours degree in 2012 and was promoted to Marketing and Business Development Manager in 2015. Hailey is now responsible for the management of our five strong Marketing and Business Development team.
