Friday 20th May 2016 marked our 5th annual Spring Classic at Loch Katrine where our Clark Contracts cycling team were joined by 31 guests.
Clark Contracts has celebrated a £500,000 refurbishment and remodelling contract at Edinburgh Airport which will allow for greater capacity for new check-in desks as the airport gears up for its summer peak.
Our Steering Group have been holding various fundraising events in our Head Office including a ‘Six Nations Day’ and our annual Clark Contracts Bake Off, to raise money for our nominated local charity, The Accord Hospice.
We are always working towards raising the awareness of career opportunities at Clark Contracts and within the construction industry. As part of this, we regularly offer work experience placements across a variety of disciplines through our Academy.
Gold accreditation as an Investor in Young People has been achieved by Clark Contracts, the construction, refurbishment and maintenance company.
A sod-cutting ceremony to mark the start of construction work has been held at the grounds of the new St Fergus’ Primary School in Paisley. The new school is being built by local contractor Clark Contracts, next to the existing school on Blackstoun Road.
We are currently on site delivering the £4m refurbishment to the Nethanvale Building within Auchlochan Garden Village for MHA.
We are continuing our 17 year relationship with the University of Glasgow having been appointed on the University of Glasgow’s Minor Works Framework for a 3rd time in a row.
Pupils at Mossvale Primary School and Nursery Class and St James’ Primary School in Paisley learned about health and safety on a building site, with a creative twist.
Over 300 people interested in a traineeship or apprenticeship in the construction industry attended a careers evening staged by Clark Contracts at its Head Office in Paisley.
